Where in the World?

Thank you for all the food labels you sent in for homework. It was very interesting to find out where all our different food comes from. We placed lots of the labels onto a giant world map to see which areas of the world produce the most food and then talked about why we thought this might be.

There was a lot of food from the UK and Europe, quite a bit from South Africa and Southern Asia but nothing from Central Africa or Northern Asia. We think this is because the landscape and climate there is not good for producing food.
